Manchester United striker Joe Hugill is joining Wigan Athletic on loan for the 2024/25 season, subject to Premier League, EFL and FA approval.
The 20-year-old scored the Reds’ second goal in the 2-0 victory over Rangers in Edinburgh at the weekend, slamming in via the underside of the bar following good work by Maxi Oyedele.
Instead of being part of the squad going on Tour 2024, presented by Snapdragon, the youngster has linked up with his new team-mates at the League One club.
