TUANZEBE: WE’RE IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TO WIN
Axel Tuanzebe has reacted with typical modesty to his imperious return to the Manchester United first team during an excellent 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford settled our opening Champions League group-stage fixture on Tuesday night, but United’s backline was equally involved in the win, with Tuanzebe a notable standout.
The Academy graduate had not played a minute since a Carabao Cup win against Colchester in December 2019, but met the challenge brought by PSG’s superstar forwards Neymar and Kylian Mbappe head-on.
